Ali isn’t just another character; he’s the kind of mischievous, curious, big-hearted kid every child can relate to. From school projects gone wild to Eid adventures in Pakistan, this series bursts with humour, family, and faith woven into everyday life.

Born and raised in Canada to Pakistani parents, Farheen Khan writes the kind of stories she wished she had as a kid—joyful, silly, and full of everyday adventures starring Muslim children. She’s the author of 10 books, including The Ali Series, The Ibrahim Khan Mysteries, and The Time I Started Wearing Hijab. Currently living in Mississauga with her three now-grown children. Her mission? To fill bookshelves with laughter, heart, and characters who remind kids that their lives, faith, and quirks are worth celebrating!

I really liked the Ali series a lot because of Ali's personality. He is funny, smart and silly. My favourite book the series is Ali and the Eid Goat. It talked about how fun Pakistan is fun and the importance of Eid Al Adha. I think the series is great for young Muslim kids who want to have fun reading while learning about Islam

Excellent series Son loves reading it and it’s well structured chapters of about 4 or 5 pages makes kids feel like they are making good headway in what is his first set of chapter books. Thank you for writing these and I hope you write more. These books are worth every penny. Jazakallah Khair :)

I really enjoyed reading these books. Ali’s funny, silly character and crazy adventures had me totally immersed. My personal favourite was Ali and the Invention Convention, since I like building and creating things, like Ali. I would definitely recommend everyone to read this book series. 10 out of 10 stars!!!
