I've been pushing the power of positive thinking on my kids for a while now and this book really helps bring it into a scenario that can be easily referenced and understood for young kids! Framing it as gratitude is a very beautiful and important step, too, in order to always be grateful to Allah. :) I've referenced the gratitude glasses a couple times since reading the book to my kids and it has a great effect. We all loved this story.

We had been thinking of ordering from Ruqaya’s bookshelf for sometime now. I am so glad that we finally made our first purchase. This collection truly captivates my children. Mr. Gamal teaches the children about ‘looking at things in a different way’ (as my 9 year old puts it). The illustrations are lovely and the physical book quality is great.

Would highly recommend! Thankful for such sweet books that have thoughtful content for these little minds.
