Submit Your Manuscript to Muslim Book Publishers for Islamic Children's Books

If you're looking to publish an Islamic children's book, follow our simple guidelines to submit your manuscript for review.

Manuscript Submission Guidelines:

To ensure your manuscript is considered, please review the following guidelines:

• We focus on publishing Islamic children's books like advanced picture books (650-850 words) and chapter books (7,000-10,000 words). Manuscripts that do not meet these word count requirements will not be reviewed.
• All stories must feature Muslim protagonists. We encourage diversity and welcome stories about characters from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
• We accept manuscripts from writers worldwide. However, your submission must be original and unpublished (in print or online).
• If submitting multiple stories, please send them in a single Word document. Limit your submission to three stories at a time.
• As Muslim book publishers, we aim to create stories that resonate with both Muslim and non-Muslim audiences. However, we are especially committed to addressing the needs of the underserved Muslim community.
• We are interested in exciting stories where Muslim children are doing cool things. Make sure your manuscript includes compelling conflicts or challenges for the character to resolve.
• While we appreciate Islamic themes, we prefer to avoid overly instructive content filled with too many Arabic or Islamic terms.
• We do not accept manuscripts that have already been storyboarded or include illustrations.

How to Submit:

1. Picture Books: Submit the full manuscript for review.
2. Chapter Books: Submit one chapter (maximum 1500 words) along with a detailed outline. Full manuscripts will not be reviewed at this stage.

We strive to review every manuscript submitted. If you do not hear back from us within 6-8 weeks, please assume we are not moving forward with your submission.

As a Muslim publishing house, we are unable to provide updates on individual manuscripts due to the volume of submissions. However, if we are interested in publishing your Islamic children's book, we will reach out to you directly.
