Funny, silly, warm and absolutely scrumptious!

My 8-year-old loves reading it and my 3-year-old asks for it every night. He references the book by reciting his favorite line: Fire, fire! Fire in my belly!
The rhymes are fascinating for young readers and the plot is attractive to toddlers and preschoolers.
So, whether they're reading it or listening to it, the kids (and adults) will be entertained!

Love!

My children LOVE this book! We have laughed so hard while reading this together. This is also an excellent book to share with others outside of our faith. It talks about Ramadan without being ”too religious”. I sent this to my daughter’s second grade classroom for the month and she told me that it’s consistently the first book that everyone wants to read during free time. She shared that it has also helped to facilitate conversations at school about foods we eat and our family’s traditions. We are so grateful for this book and cannot recommend it enough!

My boys loved it.

I have 3 boys- ages 3-8. They loved the book. We read it, it’s funny and rhyming. I catch my older 2 rereading it to the preschooler. Today we even made samosas from the recipe in the back for the first time. It was delicious. My eldest even attempted to make his own pepper sauce just like the main character.
